PERIMETER TAILGATING
Perimeter Tailgating is a tradition that the Navy Academy Athletic Association (NAAA) is proud to provide it's fans. At every Navy Football game parking areas outside Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium are specifically held for tailgate groups that reserve those spaces through the NAAA for the entire season.
Roughly 59 spots are held for perimeter tailgaters which includes groups such as; USNA graduate classes, midshipmen and civilian groups. Each group enrolled in the program pays a nominal fee prior to the start of the season. The typical spot is roughly 30'x 45' which can accommodate at least a 20'x 20' tent.
On some occasions perimeter spots may be available to rent on a game-by-game basis. Spot openings often revolve around reunions scheduled at each game.
